Maintaining the appearance of youthful looking and healthy skin encompasses many factors ranging from ideal bone and fat structure, uniform skin pigmentation, absence of skin laxity, soft skin texture, small pore size, minimizing scars, absence of blotchiness and sun or age spots and the absence of superficial blood vessels. BOTOX
BOTOX Cosmetic is a safe, effective treatment for reducing the appearance of frown lines, forehead lines, and crow's feet. These lines are caused by excessive contractions of the facial musculature. This activity is reduced by BOTOX Cosmetic injections, resulting in a more relaxed appearance.
How does BOTOX work?
BOTOX is a toxin which blocks the signal from the nerve to the muscle. This prevents contraction of the muscles which cause dynamic wrinkles.
What can I expect during the procedure? Is it painful?
After consultation and discussion of the patient goals, injections are performed by a Board Certified dermatologist using the smallest needles possible. You may experience a mild pinch, but the discomfort will go away momentarily. In some circumstances a numbing cream can be used to reduce the discomfort.
What can I expect after the treatment?
Immediately after treatment, you may experience mild bumps but these will rapidly smooth. Although you may notice improvement after 2-3 days, most patients need 7-10 days to see ideal results.
How long will treatment last?
Most treatments last 3 months however, longer results have been noted. The response does not stop dramatically but rather fades over a period of time.
Will need to do this forever?
Studies show that patients who are treated continuously for 18-24 months require fewer injections in the future.

Juvederm
Juvederm is a synthetically-produced version of the body's natural connective tissue material called hyaluronic acid. Over time, the body's own hyaluronic acid is lost, creating the appearance of wrinkles. Treatment with Juvederm can fill in these wrinkles and restore a more youthful appearance. Juvederm may also be used for lip augmentation. The procedure takes approximately 10-15 minutes and results usually last for 6 months.
How does Juvederm work?
Over time, the body's own hyaluronic acid moves or is lost, creating the appearance of wrinkles. Treatment with Juvederm can fill in these wrinkles and restore a more youthful appearance. Juvederm may also be used for lip augmentation.
What can I expect during the procedure? Is it painful?
After consultation and discussion of the patient goals patients are lightly anesthetized with a topical cream. Injections are performed by a Board Certified dermatologist. You may experience a mild pinch, but the discomfort will go away momentarily as the products contain anesthesia. The procedure takes approximately 10-15 minutes
What can I expect after the treatment?
Immediately after treatment, you may experience numbness, mild swelling or bruising but these symptoms with improve rapidly in the first few hours and days.
How long treatment last?
Most treatments last 6-9 months however, longer results have been noted. The response does not stop dramatically but rather fades over a period of time.
Will I need to do this forever?
Studies show that patients who are treated with two treatments in the first 9 months show a durable response for up to 18 months.

How does Sclerotherapy work?
Sclerotherapy is performed with hypertonic saline which causes irritation of the veins and decrease of blood flow which reduces or eliminates the appearance of these veins
