We offer specialized care for patients with vitiligo, a condition that occurs when skin pigment cells are destroyed and the pigment melanin can no longer be produced. Vitiligo occurs in at least 1% of the population, regardless of race, age or sex. In about one-third of vitiligo patients, there is a family history of the condition.
Our staff of trained nurses and doctors offers phototherapy treatment with ultraviolet light to effectively stimulate skin pigment to return. The professionals at Windsor Dermatology have more than 20 years of experience with phototherapy treatment.
In order to accommodate our patients' busy schedules,we offer treatment sessions as early as 6am, as late as 7pm, and during weekends. Treatments are administered by two full-time nurses. The cost is covered by Medicare and most insurance plans.
